Get to Know
The East Harriet neighborhood extends from 36th Street on the north, Lyndale Avenue South on the east, West 46th Street on the south and William Berry Parkway, Lakewood cemetery and Lake Harriet to the west. Its home to the Rose Garden, the Peace Garden and Roberts Bird Sanctuary and the historic home of Theodore Wirth, who played a very important role in our Minneapolis Parks. His home is situated on a hill on Lyndale Farmstead Park which offers athletic fields, an ice rink in the winter, a pickle ball court and a playground. Located just outside of Uptown and close to downtown there's always something to do if you live in East Harriet.
