Your Early Spring Home Maintenance Checklist!
With the snow gone and the temps rising it's time to take a look outside and clean up our exteriors. Wondering what to do this time of the year? Don't worry we've got you covered with our early spring home maintenance checklist.
- Inspect the exterior of your home. Check the roof, the gutters, the siding and the windows. Make minor repairs or create a to do list for larger more expensive projects.
- Turn on your outdoor water valves and attach the hoses.
- Pressure wash the exterior.
- Pick up any big branches and trash that may have accumulated under the snow.
- Trim your shrubs and remove any dead landscaping. Be careful not to disturb too much, it's best to wait until the ground has fully thawed, or temps reach 50 consistently to protect the pollinators.
- Put away the shovel and move the snow blower to the back of the garage.
- Sweep your sidewalks.
- Bring out the patio furniture and enjoy!
